Abstract: The ground collapse area in Dongshancun, Baishan City, is in a bad situation of stability, which seriously threatens the safety of local residents and properties. Based on field investigation and geophysical verification, with comprehensive analysis of the forming mechanism and reason of the collapse area, it is identified as a karst collapse, belonging to medium degree of geological disaster.
