METALLOGENIC CHARACTERISTICS OF NONFERROUS AND NOBLE METALS IN ERGUN REGION

    • Ergun region is located in the northeast of Inner Mongolia autonomous regions. This area and Chaobasan region in Mongolia and Chita region in Russia make up of an important province of nonferrous and noble metal resources. Four faults of NE-NNE striking-Deerbugan, Jierbugan, Hawuer and Ergun River-control the distribution of the nonferrous and noble metal resources. Hawuer and Jierbugan faults divide Ergun region into three mineralizing areas-Enhe, Shanghulin and Erbuer areas.
