DISCUSSION AND PRACTICE ON THE INFORMATION SERVICE OF REGIONAL GEOLOGIC DATA TO LOCAL ECONOMY: A case study of the Northeast Region of China

The Northeast Region of China in this paper includes Heilongjiang, Jilin and Liaoning provinces and the eastern part of Inner Mongolia. Based on the orientation of information service of regional geologic data directed by the government, the geologic work in the Northeast Region and its characters are introduced. The current situation of the information service is reviewed. With analysis of the social demands on geologic data, the orientation of information service is cleared. An effective measure is proposed about the geologic data to serve the development of local economy.
