Abstract
The Shuhadi lead-zinc polymetal deposit is located in the faulted structural alteration belt in the spilite and quartz keratophyre series of Middle Ordovician Duobaoshan formation. The ore bodies are controlled by the Shuhadi anticline and accompanying fault structure, occurring in veins or lens. The composition of the Pb-Zn ore is simple, associated with Ag and Cu. The wallrock alteration types involve pyritization, silicification, chloritization, epidotization, sericitization and carbonation, showing inconspicuous zonation. The ore-forming materials come from the metamorphic rock series of Ordovician Duobaoshan formation, with hydrothermal ore-forming solution from latent igneous intrusions. The deposit genetically belongs to magmatic hydrothermal filling type of lead-zinc polymetal deposit, in forming age of Early-Middle Yanshanian.
