THE DEVELOPMENT CHARACTERISTICS AND STABILITY ANALYSIS OF LINJIAYA LANDSLIDES IN BEISHAN REGION, XINING CITY

    • The Beishan region in Xining City is located in the geological hazard-prone zone, in which the DasigouWangjiazhuang area includes the most numerous, severe and dangerous geological disasters. Based on the overall characteristics of landslide in this region, taking Linjiaya landslide group for example, the authors analyze its space morphological characteristics, material composition and structural features, calculate the stability under three different operating conditions with folded line slide model, and finally assess its stability. It is concluded that: 1) There are 31 collapse perilous rock bodies, 4 large landslides and 2 large debris flow gullies in the Dasigou-Wangjiazhuang section; 2) The Linjiaya landslide group mainly consists of colluvium of silty clay with clastic gravel; 3) Influenced by the landform, lithology, rainfall and human activities, the Linjiaya landslide group at present is generally in a constant speed deformation phase, which should be effectively controlled to prevent further deformation.
