GEOLOGICAL FEATURES OF SHANMEN Ag-Au DEPOSIT

The ore bodies of Shanmen Ag-Au deposit is located in the internal and external contact zones,of which Shifeng formation of Ordovician System is overlapped by granodiorite of Indo-China Epoch The ore bodies are controlled by NNE-trending faults The metallogenesis of the deposit is related to magmatic hydrothermal fluid with multistage ore-forming processes The stratabound deposit can be classified as broken altered rock-type ore with mainly mid-low temperature hydrothermal fluid filling.
