CLASSIFICATION OF GOLD DEPOSITS AND ITS THEORETICAL ANALYSIS

The classifications of Au deposits were of much controversy and few of them were desirable to practice.This was the result of different selections of the basis of classification,various emphatic aspects and trivial subdivisions.By the way of detailed analysis and demonstration,essentially on the basis of the critical characteristics in the crop-out range of Au deposits (lodes) other than the significance of their genesis to avoid arguments,defining the classification standard to avoid logical errors,paying attention to the practical operation during mineral prospecting and theoretical studies,the authors propose a new classification of Au deposits,which challenges to the classification of Au deposits chiefly on their genesis.
