DISCUSSIONS ON PROSPECTING PESPECTIVE FOR SILVER DEPOSIT IN CHINA THROUGH THE GEOLOGIC CHARACTERISTICS OF SILVER DEPOSITS IN NEIGHBOURING COUNTRIES

Silver deposits in neighbouring countries mainly distrbuted in the former Soviet Union, Mongolia, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Burma, Indonesia etc. Countries. Through the study of geologic Characteristics of silver deposits in neighbouring countries, we conside that five kinds of Silver deposits can be compared with that in China, That is:1) Continental volcanic rock type of (gold-) silver (-polymetal) deposit on continental edge Zone;2) Volcanic (-subvolcanic) hydrothermal type of silver-bearing pyrite type of copper or polymetal deposit;3) porphyry type of silver or silver-bearing gold-copper (lead-zinc-tin) deposit;4) meta-morphic hydrothermal metasomatic type of gold-silver or silver-lead-zine deposit;5) skarn type of silver-bearing magnetite or polymetal deposit.We've indicated the prospecting perspective of silver deposits in China.
